Margaret Blasinsky, M.A., President
Margaret Blasinsky is founder and President of The Madrillon Group. Ms. Blasinsky has more than 30 years of experience in behavioral, health, and social sciences research, including program evaluation, program assessment, feasibility studies, focus group research, study design, performance monitoring, and publications development. She has worked extensively with Federal, state, and local government agencies, universities, and nonprofit organizations and has a solid portfolio of success in directing a diverse array of projects.
Ms. Blasinsky is currently directing evaluation and support services projects for several Institutes, Offices, and Centers at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) including a number related to the high profile NIH Roadmap. During her career, Ms. Blasinsky has provided leadership in the design and conduct of rigorous program evaluations and program assessments for many Federal Government departments, agencies, offices, and commissions including the Department of Health and Human Services, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Justice, the Office of National Drug Control Policy, the Department of Homeland Security, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Office of the Surgeon General, and the President’s Commission on Mental Health.
Through the management of multitask program planning, development, and evaluation projects, Ms. Blasinsky has contributed to the state-of-the art of service delivery to special populations including women and children, the elderly, substance abusers, persons with mental illnesses, persons with HIV/AIDS, and veterans. A trained facilitator, she has conducted focus groups with youth, service providers, program managers, and researchers. Ms. Blasinsky has disseminated evaluation results to a range of audiences through formal reports, fact sheets, and briefings. Her work is published in numerous peer-reviewed scientific journals. Ms. Blasinsky holds a Master of Arts in gerontology and a Bachelor of Arts in management from George Mason University.
